Wild at Heart: The Pieces That Won Everyone’s Hearts

Wild at Heart has always been our ode to unrestrained joy of colour-tipped foliage, sculpted appliqué, molten textiles, and silhouettes designed to move with the body. Within this collection, new silhouettes arrived with a softer kind of drama; fabrics gleamed with an almost surreal lightness.

What has always remained unchanged, though, was the instinctive way you connected with certain pieces— the ones chosen first, worn often, and carried into celebrations that mattered. That same instinct has travelled beyond individual wardrobes, as Vogue India recently included Aisha Rao’s Wild at Heart in its list of “11 Indian couture stores we’re excited to shop at this season.

This edit brings those pieces together, shaped as much by instinctive choice as by design intent.

Dreamlight

Dreamlight emerged early as a favorite. A tulle lehenga that feels almost weightless on the body, it balances airy volume with meticulous handwork, allowing the modest colour-led shimmer to catch evening light without ever overwhelming the movement. Chosen for modern cocktail celebrations, Dreamlight appealed to brides who wanted their outfits to move as instinctively as they did.

Dewchant

Rendered in a cool-toned ivory, Dewchant is defined by ease. As the name suggests, “Dew”-like appliqué reveals itself gradually, rewarding closer attention rather than immediate spectacle. The texture of this drape saree builds softly, allowing colour and the tulle fabric to take the lead. It quickly became a preferred choice for intimate celebrations, worn by those who favour subtle details and confidence

Petalmuse

Petalmuse plays with romance without leaning into nostalgia. Sculpted florals arranged in gentle gradients give the tulle Sharara a bloom-like softness that shifts with movement, keeping the silhouette light despite the richness of detail. Chosen for cocktails and sundowner soirees, this lush green piece felt festive without being excessive.

Sagebloom

Sagebloom reimagines Wild at Heart’s signature foliage in a cooler, gunmetal palette. Sculpted appliqué and beaded fringes move fluidly across a corseted tulle silhouette, catching light with every step. Expressive yet controlled, it’s a gown designed for outdoor evenings that call for presence without excess

Sunflair

Sunflair is best defined as liquid gold in motion. Crafted in Banarasi tissue, the gown pairs a sculpted, intricately embellished bodice with a fluid skirt that responds beautifully to light. Regal without heaviness, the silhouette has been seen across Diwali celebrations in global cities, making Sunflair a continued standout in this chapter.

Glowtide

Glowtide embraces maximalism unapologetically. An interplay of colour, appliqué, and sparkle defines the piece, while the silhouette remains deliberately easy. A sheer tulle cape blouse offsets the embellished tissue lehenga, lending lightness to the composition. Designed for celebrations that privilege expression, Glowtide commands attention effortlessly.

Summeadow

As the name suggests, Summeadow feels sun-warmed like a field in full light. Florals drift across sequin georgette, layered with a sheer tulle bodice that feels light against the skin. The printed and embellished cape flows freely, catching colour as it moves. Easy and expressive, Summeadow is made for celebrations that unfold in daylight and linger well into the evening.

Pearldusk

Pearldusk reimagines cocktail dressing through design. Rose-gold Banarasi tissue, softened florals, and fine appliqué shape a silhouette that responds to light rather than competes with it. The sculpted blouse and fluid lehenga come together in an evening look that feels composed and effortless.

If the original collection was a maximalist ode to nature’s untamed cadence, Drop 2.0 sharpened that language through heightened colour tensions, enriched applique work, and silhouettes that feel almost architectural in their intent.

The collection is not the evolution of silhouette alone, but of the women who wear it, unmistakably Wild at Heart.
